I am knitting an argyll vest for AJD, and I am nearing a crossroads. Do I do maroon and blue X or do I do a navy blue X? What do you all think?
The maroon yarn was held double, and the navy blue yarn would be threaded double, just in case you were concerned. Also, I’d like to take this moment to say that the maroon yarn has been my stash since 2004, the dawn of my knitting career, and now it is finalllllly being used up. Spring cleaning can be fun, no?
In that case…. MAROON! Put that bad baby to rest.
My vote is for something entirely different! Mustard yellow to make it really pop! Mike and I were just talking yesterday about color, and in my opinion, three colors (can we really include the gray
is essential!!!
Good luck. You have a great eye for this, go with your gut. (YELLOW!!!) hahaha
I’d say hot pink! Something snazzy, or maroon/navy.
I vote for navy blue
Gives a subtle contrast to the other colours.
By the way, congratulations on the twist patterns! They are lovely!!!
If he wants hot pink, I say, give him what he wants, but I think navy would look very nice.
Navy blue
Maroon
Navy
Not Blue & maroon. One or the other.
Green! A nice mossy green! ..maybe a heathered mossy green!
I want Graham to have this sweater!
I would like the navy blue out of the choices you gave, but I have got to agree with the mustard yellow suggestion. That would be beautiful
