I am naming this pattern after my friend Bobby. He doesn’t have a garden, but I think he’d use a blanket like this for having pancake picnics and building forts.

I almost missed the train this morning. I caught it, but the trade off was that I lost a mitten in the rush. The remaining mitten is now mourning its loss, hanging out with my Aesthetics of Disengagement book. Which, I should mention, is a fascinating book about art and depression.
